• IT and Computer Science
  • Information Technology (I.T.) deals with the study, design, development, application and management of computer-based information systems, specifically software applications and computer hardware.

Computer science, on the other hand, deals with the study of the foundations and implementation of computation and information, as applied to computer systems.
Areas of emphasis in these fields include (but are not limited to) computer programming, visual communication, business system analysis, information security, information technology support, multimedia, networking, software engineering and web development.

Because society is very dependent on technology, demand for I.T. and computer science professionals is present across most industries.

I.T. and computer science professionals are encouraged to take continuous studies in order to be up-to-date with rapid advances in technology.
